Last January I realized it was time to make a change.

Over the holiday season I had taken the pleasure of enjoying many delicious treats including cookies, pies, and cakes. It was a wonderful time of year and my belly was really showing the signs that I'd enjoyed myself for a few months.

Starting in January I went to the gym 4-5 times each month. I had been a regular at the gym, but now I felt more focused. By March I had lost about 5-10 lbs, but wasn't feeling good about myself. 

Why wasn't I losing more weight? I was eating fewer calories and working out all the time. Something was strange.

This site, along with Mercola.com, changed my life. It's been a huge wakeup call to realize that all the breads, pastas, cookies, juices, and other carbohydrates were ruining my body - external and internal.

Now it's about 8 months later. I'm down 25 lbs to about 165 lbs. I fluctuate around there, but more than that is how I feel and look. My blood pressure is down. My vital signs are good. My waist is trim. My legs are more defined and I feel great. I have energy.

It's a wonderful feeling.
